Privacy Policy

1. Scope and developer

This Privacy Policy applies to the WordGlade mobile game for Android and iOS (the “Game”), provided by Rotten Farms (“we,” “us,” or “our”). It also applies to the Game’s official legal pages.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not operate player accounts or directly collect your name, postal address, contacts, or payment-card number through the Game.

2. Information processed

Game progress stored locally

The Game stores progress and preferences on your device, including completed levels, discovered and extra words, revealed hints, coin balance, sound choices, reward timing, purchase entitlement, and review-prompt timing. This information is used to resume your game and enforce gameplay rewards. It is not uploaded by Rotten Farms as a player profile.

Analytics and diagnostics

Our analytics services may process app interactions and technical information such as app opens, screen views, level starts and completions, hint usage, extra-word activity, reward outcomes, app version, approximate device information, installation or app-instance identifiers, and diagnostic signals. We configure custom gameplay events without names, email addresses, entered text, or the words you type into the letter wheel.

Advertising and consent

Google Mobile Ads and Google’s consent tools may process advertising identifiers, IP address, general device information, ad impressions and interactions, consent choices, and fraud or diagnostic signals. Depending on your region and choices, ads may be personalized or non-personalized. Optional rewarded ads are shown only after you choose to watch one; interstitial ads may appear at eligible level transitions.

Purchases

Purchases are processed by Google Play or Apple’s App Store. Those stores handle payment credentials. The Game receives product, transaction, purchase-status, and entitlement information needed to deliver coin packs, restore eligible purchases, or remember that forced ads were removed.

Dictionary requests

When you open a definition that is not already cached, the requested word is sent to Free Dictionary API. Like most internet services, that provider may also receive your IP address and basic request information. Definitions may include source links to Wiktionary. Recent definitions can be cached locally on your device.

Notifications infrastructure

The Game includes infrastructure that can support notifications. The current version does not ask for notification permission or use notification tokens for promotional messaging. Supporting app services may process installation identifiers required to initialize their software. If notifications are enabled in a future release, this Policy and the relevant store disclosures will be updated before that use begins.

Native ratings

The Game may ask Google Play or Apple’s App Store to display its native rating prompt after positive gameplay milestones. The store controls whether the prompt appears and processes any rating or review. Rotten Farms does not receive your store-account identity from this prompt.

3. How information is used

• Provide, save, and restore gameplay features and preferences.
• Deliver purchased items and restore eligible entitlements.
• Show, measure, limit, and personalize advertising where permitted.
• Understand aggregate gameplay, improve difficulty, and diagnose reliability issues.
• Prevent abuse, invalid purchases, advertising fraud, and reward manipulation.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions.

4. Service providers and sharing

We share information only as needed with service providers operating features described in this Policy, or where required by law. Their processing is governed by their own terms and privacy practices.

• Analytics and app infrastructure providers — app initialization, analytics, diagnostics, and supporting technical services.
• Google Mobile Ads and User Messaging Platform — advertising, consent, measurement, and fraud prevention. How Google uses data for advertising.
• Google Play — Android distribution, billing, reviews, and purchase restoration. Google Privacy Policy.
• Apple App Store — iOS distribution, billing, reviews, and purchase restoration. Apple Privacy Policy.
• Free Dictionary API and Wiktionary — dictionary definitions and source material. Free Dictionary API and Wikimedia Privacy Policy.

These providers may process information in countries other than yours. Where applicable, they and we rely on recognized transfer safeguards and contractual protections.

5. Your choices and rights

• Ad privacy: Where required, use “Privacy Choices” in the Game’s Shop to review or change available advertising consent choices.
• Device advertising controls: Your device settings may let you limit ad personalization or reset advertising identifiers.
• Local progress: You can remove locally stored game information by clearing the Game’s storage or uninstalling it. These actions may permanently erase progress and unconsumed local coin balances.
• Purchases: Purchase history and refunds are controlled through Google Play or Apple’s App Store.
• Privacy requests: Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, or withdraw consent. Contact us to exercise a right. Because the Game has no account, we may be unable to associate provider-level pseudonymous information with you without details from your device or store.

6. Retention and security

Local progress remains on your device until you clear it or uninstall the Game. Third-party providers retain analytics, advertising, purchase, and diagnostic information according to their policies and configured retention periods. We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, legal obligations, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and enforcement.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted HTTPS connections for supported network requests. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

7. Children and families

WordGlade is a general-audience word game. If you are below the age at which you may consent to data processing or purchases in your country, use the Game only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian. Parents or guardians who believe a child has provided personal information directly to us may contact us for assistance.

8. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy when the Game, its providers, or legal requirements change. The latest version will remain at this URL and will show its effective and updated dates. Material changes may also be communicated in the Game or store listing where appropriate.
